Η Λίνα Σαϊσανά υπήρξε συνοδός εκδρομών, δημοσιογράφος-αρχισυντάκτρια στα περιοδικά Hotel & Restaurant και Computer Age, αρθρογράφος στα περιοδικά Πρόσωπα, Ένα, Κλικ και Ταχυδρόμος - σεναριογράφος σε τηλεοπτικές καμπάνιες κοινωνικού περιεχομένου. Ως δημοσιογράφος, κορυφαίες της επιτυχίες είναι η συνάντηση με τον Αγιατολαχ Χομεϊνί, Τεχεράνη 1988 - η Σαϊσανά και η Οριάνα Φαλάτσι ήταν οι μοναδικές μη μουσουλμάνες δημοσιογράφοι που τον συνάντησαν - και η συνέντευξη με τον Δαλάι Λάμα. Επίσης υπήρξε πρέσβειρα των Γηγενών Προκολομβιανών Φυλών τού Μεξικού στον Ο.Η.Ε. όπου διεκδίκησε με επιτυχία την επιστροφή τής κορώνας τού Μοκτεζούμα στον λαό των Αζτέκων, από το Μουσείο τής Βιέννης. Από το 1992 εργάζεται στον εκδοτικό τομέα ως μεταφράστρια - κυρίως των βιβλίων τού Όσσο για τις Εκδόσεις Ρέμπελ. Από το 2013 είναι σύμβουλος Αμερικανών σεναριογράφων και μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών Δημιουργικής Γραφής στα Πανεπιστήμια Columbia και Yale. |
